Classroom Notes

Primary Class:

May is a busy month for us. The children are preparing for Mother's Day Tea. They are practicing carrying a tea cup and saucer and make special gifts for their loving Mothers. The children are also enjoying lessons and activities centered around the topics of insects and transportation. We are investigating scientific topics such as evaporation, viscosity and sound with hands on experiments. Under the heading of botany we are looking at seeds, plants and flowers.

Mother's Day Tea - please make arrangements to attend Mother's Day Tea. This is a very special day when the children prepare and serve their mother's tea. This is a dress up affair. Tea is served at 11:00A.M. on Friday, May 9th.

Salisbury Zoo - We will take a trip to the Salisbury Zoo May 14th. We will walk through the zoo and eat lunch at the park.
