Montessori School For Sale - Interested Inquiries Sought

The Cambridge Day School is interested in receiving inquiries regarding the purchase of the school. The school was started in 1990 and moved to its present location at the start of the 1997-1998 school year.

Beth Lynch began the school and has remained the director/teacher/owner since its beginning.

The school itself is an approximately 4,000 square foot facility. The central portion is 36' x 36' with an internal post and beam design. The primary entrance to the school enters into a 27' by 27' area which also doubles as the library. Also located in this center portion of the build is the office, a conference room, a storage closet, and two bathrooms.

Off of the center portion of the building are classroom wings. Each of these wings is 32' by 48'.

The school is located in Cambridge, Maryland in Dorchester County, Maryland on Maryland's Eastern Shore and the school is the largest non-religious affiliated private school in Dorchester County. Cambridge is located on the Choptank River, one of the many significant rivers feeding the Chesapeake Bay,

The school is located on a lot which is about 1.78 acres. Original planning was for an eventual 2 buildings on the current location. The infrastructure (water runnoff, parking, electricity, sewer) aspects of the site were setup with this eventual growth in mind and they meet or exceed the capacity requirements required to service a second building.
